(Note: Wag nyo i-update ang Tune Utilities nyo para di ma-detect na fake yung key nyo)



TuneUp Utlities 2011
To prevent TuneUp Utilities from updating every two weeks.. Simply..
~ Open yung TuneUp Utilities 2011
~ Click Settings > General
~ Then go to the Updates Tab
~ Then set the following
- Uncheck the Check Automatically for updates
- Then set updates every After 14 days
~ Then after 14 days TuneUp Utilities update will pop-up and just click Remind me every 14 days..

TuneUp Utilities 2012 Update
~ Open TuneUp Utilities 2012
~ Then Click Updates
~ Uncheck Enable Automatic Updates
~ Then Click Apply and OK

(Your TuneUP Automatic Update must be disabled)

~ Press Win+R (Run Command will pop-up)
~ Type-in "C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts" w/o quotation mark, Then hit/click OK
~ Then open the host file with notepad (@ Windows 7 Run as Admin)
~ Then add this text under "127.0.0.1 secure.tune-up.com" w/o quotation mark, under 127.0.0.1 localhost:

~ Then type-in on your search bar "Services" (Gear icon)
~ Then search for TuneUp Update Service
~ Then set it to Manual or Disable
~ Then hit OK
Method 2
~ Press Win+R (Run Command will pop-up)
~ Type Services.msc
~ Then search for TuneUp Update Service
~ Then set it to Manual or Disable
~ Then hit OK

Method 3
~ Press Win+R (Run Command will pop-up)
~ Type-in msconfig
~ Go to Services Tab then click Hide All Microsoft Services
(You may skip this step)
~ Then search for TuneUp Update Services and then Uncheck it
(TuneUp Utilities Update Service will be disabled)
~ Apply and OK..
~ Then restart your PC (Optional)

~ Search for TuneUp Update Service
